A peer-reviewed journal in management and economics
Management and Economics Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal, originally issued twice a year (June and December) in online format (e-ISSN 2501-885X). Starting in 2022, the journal has been published three times annually (February, June and October). Our editorial vision is to promote high-quality research in the fields of management and economics, to disseminate new knowledge, and to stimulate critical thinking in both academic and professional communities.
MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW publishes innovative empirical, theoretical, review articles and studies, using either quantitative or qualitative approaches, and addressing a wide range of topics related to management and economics science and practice. The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical contributions, and review articles, employing diverse methodologies, and covering a broad spectrum of subjects in management and economics practice and research.

Building on tradition since 1998, MER is indexed in top academic databases and recognized internationally.
MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEWÂ continues the activity of the former journal Economia. Seria Management which was founded by the Faculty of Management from The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania in print form in 1998 (ISSN 1454-0320) and in electronic form since 2000 (e-ISSN 2344-4436).
MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS REVIEW maintains the Editorial and Scientific Board, the publisher and the sponsor (The Management Academic Society in Romania – SAMRO) of Economia. Seria Management and is eager to become more identifiable to the international scientific community by performing under the new title!
